Launching Deakin’s first University-wide philanthropic and engagement campaign, Together
For more than 50 years, Deakin has opened doors to education and discovery, helping people, communities and industries thrive. As we look to the future, we know the challenges facing our world – from inequality to climate change, from health to technology – demand that we do more and that we do it together.
Together brings our entire community – staff, students, alumni, donors and partners – into a shared movement to create a more equitable and sustainable world for all. Through this campaign, we aim to raise $150 million and connect with 150,000 alumni . But Together is about much more than numbers. We’re building a collective force for good: one that opens doors for students, accelerates discoveries that improve lives, and amplifies Deakin’s impact across the globe.
Every one of us has a role to play. The work you do every day – teaching, research, support, innovation – already changes lives. Together is about recognising that impact and connecting it to a broader purpose. It’s about sharing our stories, celebrating our successes, and inviting others to join us on this journey.

- Be an ambassador: talk about Together with colleagues, donors, students and alumni.
- Share our great stories: highlight how Deakin is making a difference in your area.
- Connect with alumni and donors: strengthen our relationships and networks.
- Give through DeakinGIVE : support the causes you care most about.
- Engage proudly: reach out to Deakin Advancement to support you in engaging alumni, donors or ways to highlight Together in your communications.
Every conversation and contribution helps to build momentum. This campaign belongs to all of us, and every one of us contributes to the impact Deakin makes. Let’s lead, act with compassion, and show what’s possible when we move forward. Together, we will make the wonderful possible.
