Faculty of Health Mid-Career Researcher Fellowship (MCR) Scheme
The Faculty of Health’s Mid-Career Researcher (MCR) Fellowship Scheme supports mid-career academic teaching and research staff by enhancing research capacity in key areas to build the next generation of research leaders.
The fellowship provides 12 months of support at current employment, with successful fellows receiving a one-off research support grant of $10,000 to use towards direct research costs.
2026 Scheme applications open 4 August 2025 and closes 19 September 2025.

The Institute is committed to supporting our members achieve successful outcomes and has established a number of funding opportunities.
Access Administration Support
Big Bid Support Packages are available to assist members with Administrative resources for preparation on large bids in excess of 1.5million. Packages are for $5,000 with potential for additional funds from the central research team.
