Last year, our internship program achieved remarkable success, largely thanks to our strong connections with the Master of Health Economics program. We are also proud to announce that three of our 2023 interns have joined the DHE full-time.

Project title: SaRA Clinic Evaluation.
SaRA is an innovative endorsed midwife-led sexual and reproductive health advice clinic. It is a service developed and being trialed by Maryborough District Health Service. The service aims to improve access and improve sexual and reproductive health services. The economic evaluation we are doing is specifically looking at pregnancy terminations, comparing costs and outcomes of SaRA compared to usual care (GP).
