Our 2022 IHT Impact Report has been released

In September, IHT was pleased to release our 2022 impact report. The report details many of the year’s highlights and provides an excellent overview of our work’s impact. We encourage you to take a moment to read the report, reflect on the year, and share it with IHT’s partner organisations.

 


IHT’s Cat 1 Seed Funding Grants are now open

The Institute for Health Transformation, along with HSD are pleased to launch the 2024 Cat 1 seed funding opportunity for Level A-C’s inclusive.

With funding parcels per successful application ranging from $5,000 to $20,000, the scheme aims to provide funding support for high-quality pipeline projects for Cat 1 submissions. All school academics are eligible and encouraged to apply noting the requirement for at least one member of the Project Team to be a full member of IHT.

The application form and guidelines are available on the IHT SharePoint: Cat1 Seed Funding. Applications must be submitted no later than 9am Friday 10 November 2023. Outcomes will be announced in December 2023 with grants to run over the 2024 calendar year. Projects of longer duration (up to two years) may be permitted with appropriate justification in a select set of circumstances, please see Guidelines for further details.

IHT 2023 EMCR Awards have been launched

IHT are pleased to launch the 2023 EMCR Awards.

Guidelines and application forms are now available on the Members Portal via the following link.

EMCR Awards 2023

The format of the Awards is consistent with the 2022 Scheme with three individual awards pertaining to:

  • PhD Students – Current students or students’ one-year* post thesis PhD submission
  • Early Career Researchers – Emerging researchers with less than 5 years* post PhD
  • Mid-Career Researchers – Experienced researchers 5-10 years* post PhD

As well as three Group Awards for:

  • Excellence in Research Impact
  • Excellence in Multidisciplinary/Interdisciplinary Research
  • Excellence in Research Partnerships

Applications should be submitted by COB Wednesday 28 October 2023.

Winners of each category will receive a certificate acknowledging their achievement along with $500 allocated to their research account for education or research.
