Casual Administration Opportunity
IHT are seeking to engage a casual administrative resource to assist the institute’s work with partners and stakeholders by undertaking administrative tasks alongside members of the IHT operations team. The first key objective of the role will be to map, source, curate and promote partnership-related resources that members need to support their work with partners. The second objective is to support stakeholder data management by populating a database, working with other administrative staff across the institute to consolidate stakeholder information, and supporting the development of approaches to maintain the database going forward. Other duties may also be required.
The Assignment if for 4-6 weeks commencing in November and concluding prior to the Christmas shut down.
The position is offered as a HEW6 Casual ($58.23 per hour) with a minimum expectation of 3 days a week.

Forecast opportunity: IHT Impact Grants
To support our members to evaluate the impact of their programs of research, the Institute is piloting a competitive Impact Grant scheme. Funding parcels will range from $5,000 – $15,000, and grants will run for one calendar year.
The objectives of the scheme are to:
- Enable researchers to collect evidence relating to the impact of their research programs
- Support members to demonstrate the impact of their research in future research funding applications
- Support members to become more proficient in understanding, evaluating and communicating research impact
- Strengthen relationships with research end users
The pilot round is anticipated to open in early November and close in early December this year, with projects to commence in 2024. An email will be sent across the Institute when applications open.
IHT’s Cat 1 Seed Funding Grants close 10 November
The Institute for Health Transformation are pleased to launch the 2024 Cat 1 seed funding opportunity for Level A-C’s inclusive.
With funding parcels per successful application ranging from $5,000 to $20,000, the scheme aims to provide funding support for high-quality pipeline projects for Cat 1 submissions. All school academics are eligible and encouraged to apply noting the requirement for at least one member of the Project Team to be a full member of IHT.
The application form and guidelines are available on the IHT SharePoint: Cat1 Seed Funding. Applications must be submitted no later than 9am Friday 10 November 2023. Outcomes will be announced in December 2023 with grants to run over the 2024 calendar year. Projects of longer duration (up to two years) may be permitted with appropriate justification in a select set of circumstances, please see Guidelines for further details.
