Please join IHT’s EMCR committee celebrate the completion of a big year!
This event is focussed on networking for EMCRs. You will have opportunities to network with your colleagues through several exciting activities and celebratory drinks and nibbles.
There will also be a good opportunity to share your perspectives on how the IHT EMCR Committee can better support professional development for EMCRs in 2023.

Creating Accessible PDFs with Adobe
Accessibility is about making content and functionality available to everyone. Deakin is working with Adobe to deliver a free workshop for staff that focusses on creating accessible PDFs. Learn how to embed accessibility into your documents as you go and conduct an accessibility check to ensure you’ve created an accessible document.

Peer Review Professional Development Session
Thank you to our presenters, Prof Alison Hutchinson, A/Prof Kathryn Backholer and Prof Catherine Bennett for sharing their insights into how to undertake peer review. The aim of this session was to build capacity of our members to provide high quality peer reviews. If you weren’t able to make the session, the recoding and session slides are available on our Members’ Portal.
Nourish Network End of Year Celebration
This month IHT’s Nourish Network held their end of year celebration, featuring a keynote speech from Sandro Demaio and panel members Dani Valent, Tara Boelsen-Robinson and Margaret Rozman.
The panel celebrated Nourish Network’s successes so far and shared the plans for Nourish Network moving forward.
Reflecting on the event, one attended noted ‘everyone was so engaged, and it was great to see some familiar faces and meet some new people.’
