March was a big month for Anna Ugalde and her team, who received two lots of funding.
The first, awarded to Anna Ugalde, Vicki White, Trish Livingston, Jenny Watts, Lan Gao, and Hannah Jongebloed, will see the team model the potential workforce impact of a national Lung Cancer Screening Program. The project has been funded by Cancer Australia, $129,000.
The second, awarded to Anna Ugalde, Vicki White, Trish Livingston, Jenny Watts, Lan Gao, Hannah Jongebloed, and Giles Craig from Barwon Health, will see them team undertake a national assessment of existing CT screening infrastructure to inform the design of a Lung Cancer Screening Program. Also funded by Cancer Australia for $148,000.
Professor Bodil Rasmussen has been awarded 2022 Diabetes Australia Research Program (DARP) funding for the project Psychosocial well-being among new mothers with type 1 or type 2 diabetes: Refining and Testing a novel screening tool derived from the Postnatal Wellbeing Transition Questionnaire.
