To welcome the new hub, please drop in for morning tea on Thursday, 31 March from 10.30am-12pm or on Tuesday, 5 April from 10-11.30am.

2022 Australian Fatherhood Research Symposium

The 2022 Australian Fatherhood Research Symposium will be held on 5-6 May 2022. The symposium will be a hybrid event, hosted at Deakin Downtown in Melbourne and online via Zoom.

How to access your research budget

Wednesday, 6 April, 10-10.30am via Zoom

Please join Jerry Gay, Senior Management Accountant, Research Finance, for a session relevant to internal and external research budgets.

The session will cover the timing of the release of COGNOS Monthly Finance Reports and how to read them, and a brief set up and overview of the UniFi/Workday Dashboard.

The session will also serve as a refresher on who to contact in the Research Finance team if you have any issues or queries and what services the Research Finance team provide.

There will be the opportunity to ask questions.

  • Write Right: editing for clarity and brevity, engaging readers and writing for a range of audiences. Presented by The Good Copy on 28 April.
  • Strategic career development workshop: working with(in) industry. Presented by Dr Olga Hogan on 17 and 19 May from 10am-12pm.
